Hello my name is Cara and I was a stay-at-home mum who can no longer be known as this: my children are growing up. I have two at university, one in his first year and the eldest in his third and last year. My youngest is attending sixth form and is in her first year but beginning to look at universities - aaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!!!!! So what is to become of me?

I am an actor too and trained for a BTEC in Performing Arts as a (very) mature student and gained a triple distinction which I am extremely proud of. I would recommend going back to college no matter what your age. I am so glad I did and I learned so much about myself in the process. I won't pretend it was easy and some days were extremely wearing but it was worth it in the end. As well as a qualification I also became much more confident and if I am ever nervous about something now I simply act confident and it works!

I also love film-making and have written a few scripts. I'm in the process too of writing with a partner for radio. So who knows?
